Repealing Fear and Mental Blocks

I want start to start this article with the great tamil poem 'Thirukural' by saint ThiruValluvar.

'Vella thanaya Malar NEEtam MAAndhar Tham ULLa
thana Yathu Uyarvu'

Meaning of this poem is as follows: In a pond where the lotus grows, the height of the lotus stem is decided by the level of the water in the pond as the flower always blossoms on the water surface,  no matter how deep the pond is. Similarly, the altitude that can be attained by any human being is decided by the height one sets for his/her self in the mind.

The fear thoughts are randomly generated and constantly meddle with the constructive initiatives one takes. Generally, fear thoughts are baseless and meaningless but may be originating from negative experiences recorded in mind long while ago possibly in young age or could have been hereditary recorded in the family for generations.  Becoming conscious of these fear thoughts or acknowledging the presence of these thoughts would be the first step in dealing with them. Then, in a meditative state or calm state of mind, observe the mind to go deep and find the cause for the specific fear thought. If an experience is revealed, repeal that experience in mind by mentally replaying the experience and recording desired output instead of actual negative result that might have happened. This will superimpose the actual experience and record the repealed experience in sub-conscious mind.  Continuous observation of the thoughts and moving into still mind mode also shows the shallowness of fear thought thereby weakening the same. Affirmation of positive thoughts verbally with the feeling in front of a mirror early morning or periodically will continuously weaken the fear thoughts and mental blocks. It helps to have a write up of carefully worded affirmations and use it effectively like flash cards. Planting the seeds of positive thoughts, imaging and mental experiences helps in weeding out the fear thoughts as the life energy resources spent on negativity reduces, cutting out the supply for fear thoughts. Also brisk physical activity increases the blood circulation, mind alertness and thereby the consciousness on the body - this in turn reconfigures mind away from fear thoughts.
